The BOAT TRIP
OF THE ISLAND OF STROMBOLI
starts from the shingly BEACH OF
SCARI. From the boat you can
admire the beautiful fine sandy
black Beach of Ficogrande.
Proceeding around the island, we get
to GINOSTRA a small village
with only 50 people who still move
on foot, like in the old days or
carried by mules. Here we will stop
for about 40 minutes. After the
break, we will move towards the
NATURAL SWIMMING POOL FOR A
WONDERFUL BATH AT SEA. After the
bath, we will move towards the
SCIARA DEL FUOCO (Street of
Fire), the famous black bowl where
for centuries, the spectacular lava
flows of the volcano have come down.
At night, you can watch the activity
of Stromboli. About a mile past
Ficogrande, there is the cliff of
STROMBOLICCHIO, which is also a
lighthouse that be climbed up by 200
steps. Here you will have the
opportunity for another WONDERFUL
BATH IN THE CLEAR SEA OF STROMBOLI.
